At Human Needs Project, in partnership with the World Food Programme, we’re proud to support school feeding programmes using hydroponics farming – a modern, soil-free method of growing food that is faster, more sustainable, and perfect for urban settings.

Through this climate-smart initiative, we’re reaching 29,000 students in Kibera and other informal settlements in Nairobi, improving nutrition and student well-being.

We’re also working hand-in-hand with the 4K Club to get students involved in the farming process. They’re learning how to grow food using fun and smart techniques like vertical gardens and drip irrigation.
At the end of the day, this project is about more than just food. It’s about giving kids new skills, better health, and hope for the future. Pleaser consider donating toward this program.

With gratitude,
Human Needs Project team
