Life in slums is shaped by a lack of access to clean water, sanitation, and energy — basic infrastructure that keeps millions trapped in extreme poverty.
Human Needs Project breaks the cycle of poverty by building innovative, centralized community centers in urban slums. These hubs provide essential services, technology access, and social programs — empowering residents to build better lives.

Last year, for the first time, we brought our Kibera team to the room live. This year we're building on that momentum with an even more thoughtfully curated evening.

Browse our Mini African Market, featuring beautifully curated vendors including Duane Designs, Norman Woods Jewelry, Esosi, YEMA, handcrafted bags, jewelry, and other African artisans and makers — all accompanied by live music from the acclaimed African band Nigerian Brothers.

SEATED DINNER
Guests will move upstairs for dinner, accompanied by live piano from Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby.
Get ready for an inspiring evening, led by Damon Casatico, featuring Live from Kibera, an exclusive documentary teaser, our live auction and paddle raise, and other special moments throughout the night.
