We've been keeping a secret.
For the past several months, we've been working on something very special — and we're finally ready to share it.
A Partnership Months in the Making
The Human Needs Project has partnered with Adam Leipzig — Hollywood producer, former President of National Geographic Films, and producer of A Plastic Ocean, March of the Penguins, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids — on a new documentary project.
Together, we're creating a documentary exploring innovative models — including Human Needs Project's own work at the HNP Kibera Centre — that are changing the way we think about poverty and urban development.
Why a Film Can Change More Than Minds
Adam's A Plastic Ocean became a powerful advocacy tool that helped inspire changes to more than 150 laws around the world. We believe our story — and other innovative solutions to poverty — can have a similar impact, inspiring action to help break the cycle of poverty.
See It on October 15
Here's where it gets really exciting. On October 15, at our Annual Benefit in San Francisco, we'll share an exclusive first look at the documentary and the vision behind the film — before anyone else sees it.
Become an Executive Producer
During our Live Auction, guests will have the rare opportunity to become an Executive Producer of the documentary — a screen credit on a film made to change how the world sees poverty.
If you'd like to be among the first to learn about and experience this exciting new project, join us on October 15 at our Annual Benefit at Terra Gallery in San Francisco.
With gratitude,
Human Needs Project Team
