Last week, our founder, David Warner, and board member, Judge Ann Claire Williams, attended the opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago as part of a three-day program, courtesy of our wonderful partner Auma Obama and her organization, Sauti Kuu.

We are incredibly grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful gathering of leaders and changemakers. During the visit, David had the opportunity to briefly meet former President Barack Obama and connect on the exciting work ahead.

Meanwhile, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, our Strategic Partnerships Director, Peter Muthaura, spoke at the East Africa Philanthropy Conference, where he shared Human Needs Project's unique marketplace-driven approach to transforming informal settlements and creating lasting pathways out of poverty.

We are also excited to celebrate our board member, Mikkel Vestergaard, on being recognized by Fast Company. Mikkel was named Visionary of the Year for advancing a new layer of stratospheric infrastructure to connect people and protect the planet through his company, Sceye — building on his longstanding legacy of humanitarian innovation in public health and clean water.

We're grateful for the opportunities, partnerships, and supporters who make this work possible. We invite you to explore our 2025 Impact Report and consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us continue expanding our impact. We can't wait to see what comes next!
