Last week, San Francisco hosted Climate Week, and we are proud that Human Needs Project was part of these important conversations.

Our founder David Warner spoke at the Partnerships for Change spotlight session alongside Carol Akinyi of Altow Farms, Toks Omishakin, CA Secretary of Transportation, Gary May, Chancellor of UC Davis,  Ali Mohammed, Ambassador of Kenya to the US, and more distinguished leaders.

Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting the California-Africa delegation in Kibera, giving leaders a chance to experience our project firsthand. Our collaboration with California, UC Davis and the Bay Area Council keeps gaining momentum.

Those visits, conversations, and continued partnerships helped lead to the signing of a formal MOU between California and Kenya at the United Nations General Assembly last year. Not bad for something that started with people showing up, listening, and rolling up their sleeves.

We are so grateful for this progress, and we welcome new partnerships and collaborations to help propel our mission forward. We hope you can join us!
